Hello,

So happy to have found this forum. I have been using InDesign pretty happily for the last year now. As I mostly provide work products in the form of PDFs. I've been out of the loop with printing presses since I began using this program and would like to stay with this program.

Recently, I've been working volunteer on a print project for a non-profit and would love to do for them a nice print job with metallic spot printing. Thing is with a non-profit's budget constraints, this will probably outprice anybody in NYC where we are.

[red]My question is:[/red]

does anyone know of good printers working with indesign who will work long-distance

who are relatively inexpensive

and you can speak highly of the quality of their work with higher-end projects

OR

Tips on finding a printer out-of-state

Thanks!
Any recommendations or directions are highly appreciated!

You should be able to find a cheap printer anywhere - - even in NY. Bear in mind that shipping charges can often eat up discounted printing savings.

See printingforless.com to start your search...

Do not limit yourself to INDD docs. InDesign can also send PDFs to printers.

yes,
there were no service partners found, even with very general guidelines
