Hi,

I'm currently setting up a small office for a client and on my list of things to buy is a firewall which can support VPN access.

In my office we use a Netgear FVS318, however is was a complete nightmare to set up the teleworkers (plus you have to buy licenses for the remote VPN software).

Can anyone recommend a decent firewall for a small office (less than 10 users) with easy-to-set-up VPN access?

Or should I just buy a simple firewall and configure the 2003 server for RRAS?

Your comments / suggestions please.

The linksys RV0XX products work well & the QuickVPN client sofware is free (but doesn't work on Vista yet) and can have up to 50 clients. For Vista, use the built in PPTP client, but the router will only support 5 PPTP VPN's.

Smah,

Thanks for checking but I think it does support PPTP termination...

VPN support: VPN initiation, termination and pass-through for IPSec VPN termination and pass-through for PPTP

Cheers,
Toby
