Recommendations for encryption software for laptops

We are in the midst of looking into encryption software for some 50 - 60 Toshiba laptop computers in our organziation.

Can anyone recommend some encryption software that they have used and found successful. We would like to encrypt or secure the "entire hard drive" of these machines.

Any comments or thoughts would be appreciated

They do make USB locks which you can issue to each user, when they put the USB key in the port, the hard drive contents can be used, viewed what ever.

When you take it out, the entire drive is then encrypted.
