We are preparing to install CPS 4.5 in a 2 erver farm and I am looking for recommendations as to what components should be installed where. Should we install the TS license server on a domain controller, a member server or on of them CPS servers. What about the License Console. I was planning on using SQL 2005 Express for now. Any issues upgrading the data store later and can it only be to a SQL 2005 server or could it be 2000? What are you recommendations?

MS SQL 2000 or 2005 will work as the data store. Keep in mind that with a small Citrix farm, you have the option for housing the data store locally, on your "data collector" server. You specify this during the install of Presentation server.

Citrix licensing shouldn't go on a Citrix server. You can put this on a member server (or domain controller if you're really short on server space)

Terminal Server licensing, again, not on a Citrix server, preferably a member server, but will run on a domain controller

For your datastore, i would suggest using an existing SQL server, just create another db on it, no sense having it on a Citrix server if not needed, just a suggestion.
