recommendation for door entry with IPO v3 DS

Hi, I'm a newbie with the IP Office. I am looking to purchase a door entry for the IP Office v3.0(40) DS version. Reception uses 5420 handsets. Any ideas with what will work?

Most door entry systems can be controlled with a contact closure. As long as it has the contact closure, this will be no problem with IPO. Use the 1/8th inch plug in the back of the IPO (Identicle to the MOH port but oposite end of the IPO). You have to create a short code for this to work. Look in the Documentaion cd for instructions...

Not every door entry system works with a switch closure!
For emergency reasons the door must be un-locked if a power failure occurs. So many locks a locked with power applied and release the door when the power is switched off.

In those cases I use a second relay to reverse the switching.
