I am looking for recommendations on what everyone thinks is the best Internet router. Right now we are running the Linksys WRT54GS. The problem we are having is we have to unplug and plug it daily. I do mean DAILY. We upgraded the firmware to the latest version. We have approximately 7 users on the network and 2 wireless users. We recently set up a VPN access point to allow access remotely to our file server. I am very disappointed in this router. I haev heard many good things about Linksys.

If anyone else has a similar setup, but does not run into the problems we have, please let me know what router you are using.

Thank you for your help.

ummm the 877w is an ADSL router... unless you have DSL that would be useless

We have a T1 line coming in. Any ideas on lower cost dependable router? I checked into the 1200, and that is almost the price of the router itself.

The only reason why I suggested the 1200 is because its a business standard for wireless networks... in manageability and flexibility. The 1200 is Strictly an access point and not a router.

I appreciate any feedback. I am just getting into networks. So the more information I get, the better.
