recommend a shopping cart company (e-commerce solution)

Sorry if this question's been asked a million times ... but I don't see a thread about it. Can someone recommend a shopping cart company (e-commerce solution). My needs will be pretty light (selling one or two books). PayPal and Authorize.net's Simple Checkout is a bit too "simple" for my client. They can't calculate sales tax and shipping and display that breakdown. Has someone had good luck with a particular company ... or for that matter, terrible luck with another? I work in Dreamweaver and have a fundamental knowledge of coding ... but I'm no programmer. I'm on a Mac for what that's worth, but these companies seem to all be browser-based, and that shouldn't be an issue.
