hello,

I'm looking for information about 24/48 ports L3 switches.

In fact i'm not interested about a particular switch model : i need advices or recommendations about the brands you're working with, the ones you don't like, etc.

For the perimeter : we need to connect 200 computers, want to implement 3 or 4 VLAN. No VOIP for now - but we don't know for the future. POE could be useful.

Thank you

OM

PS/ Sorry for my weird english

I use HP Procurve switches for my network. I've used and setup many a Cisco switch and they are great; in both function and cost. HP switches have lifetime; not limited lifetime, but lifetime support for as long as you own the switch with next business day replacement.

You mention only 24/48 port flavors, but I would look at chassis based models as well for higher port density closets.

Of course, my two cents.
