We have a 2 Novell Servers in our organisation one is a Netware 5.1 Box running on a PIII600 512 MB RAM, this server is out Bordermanager server and is currently running our GroupWise POA, MTA, GWIA. The other is a Netware 6.0.2 box running on a Quad Processor Xeon with 4GB Ram and is our file / print / and a Centura Database. Looking at these 2 servers which is the better server to be running GroupWise on ?? It currently runs fine, performance is pretty good.

Is there any advantage in moving GroupWise to the bigger server ??

Hi,

Yes, Security.

One thing is for sure, because GroupWise is running on the Border server, it is not secure. Moving the installation to the internal server will make it more secure.
