Microsoft Powerpoint (2002) has a recolor feature (in the 'Picture' tab of the 'Format Object' pop up). I notice that the 'Format Object' popup in Microsoft Word 2002 does _not_ support this feature. Does someone know, how I can recolor an Object in MS Word?

thanks

Be careful when you mention "object". There are a number of objects that can take fill colors in Word.

What kind of object? State precisely how you created the object.

There is a menu item, "Format AutoShape" that allows you to change the fill color.

What, exactly, is the object you are trying to color?
