Hi,
I need help with what does this following script do. I am not familiar with scripts. I am trying to decide if i need this script that someone else wrote. If you can figure it out please let me know. Here is the script:

Down Up "s" Esc
Menu {Scripts} Esc Esc Esc {Tools} {ExportImport} {Export}{1-2-3}
{2) 1-2-3 Release 2} {Answer}{f:\\users\\tcorbin\\xldata\\repos}
{Replace}
Menu {Tools} Esc {Scripts} {End-Record}

Thank you,
Hpatel

Paradox can record keystrokes (much the same way as you can record macros in spreadsheets), which it saves as a .SC script file. You can then play the script to repeat all the keystokes.

In this case it exports the ANSWER table to a Lotus 123 file f:\\users\\tcorbin\\xldata\\repos.wk1, and replaces the existing file.

Since this uses two fixed objects - the answer table and the target .WK1 file, it is very unlikely you would want to keep this (espcially as the contents of the ANSWER table is unknown).

Scripts are more usefully used for PAL code (Paradox Application Language).
