This is a question specific to image analysis in JAVA. I want to take sheet music and turn this into information which I will then convert to midi. Which relates to my last posted question. Anyway I have come across methods such as LAG and houph transform to recognise staff lines and some morphology techniques to recognise notes. Has anyone done or seen other methods which may be better or even just alternative methods as a solution to the problem. I am a bit confused of how to implement these methods as well.
