Good day all

Even after reading the CL manual I don't really understand if, when, or why these commands should be run. Does anyone have an opinion on the subject? Should I include this in some kind of periodic process? If so; How often and why?

Thank you

Warren

I don't run the RclTmpStg, that process is taken care of when I automatically IPL the system every Sunday morning at 1:00 AM.
Code:
PwrDwnSys Option(*Immed)
          Restart(*Yes)
          IplSrc(B)
I do the RclStg monthly, after I complete the SAVSYS. I find that after I run the RclStg, that some database objects are fixed, and that access to the database objects is improved. I also notice a slight increase in the amount of disk space that is avaiable. It kinda acts like the DEFRAG command under windows.
