recipiest can't read the mail

Hi, i write a mail in Outlook Express in Greek language but the recipiest can' t read my e-mail (strange characters appear on his screen). What is the problem? Can you give me a solution?

It's might be related to different fonts on the sending & receiving systems. Does it work if you send in 'plain text' format?
