Hi, can anyone help me with this problem.

We have a mail box called 'uksupport' when a user sends this mailbox an email, they get rejected saying 'did not reach the following recipient(s)

I'm not able to send an email to this address externally or internally but the mailbox does exist on the server.

There have been no changes on our Exchange server and this worked fine this morning. There are no emails in the mailbox.

Does anyone have any ideas the next step I could take to resolve this?

Regards,
Richard

Please post the exact error message you are getting, that will help in diagnosing the problem. Does the address show up in the Global Address List internally?

Have you verified that there is a mailbox with this name on the server? Is there an NT account associated with the mailbox?

Hi AM, thanks. Problem solved now. The mailbox was over sized. I looked at the mailbox and there were no emails, under one of the folders there was a sub folder containing over a 100Mb of mails. I'm pretty new to Exchange so I wasn't sure at the time how to check the size of the account.

Regards,
Rich
