Will the 6.1 MICS recieve more than 7 digits?

Thanks,

Don

Yes, you can set it on up to at least 14, or maybe more.

Oops, I was looking in Public Network and Private network under dialing plan. Looks like your limit is 7 for rec. length.

i dont think any CO gives out more DNIS than NXX abcd ...
7 is the upper limit - someone will correct if i'm wrong

CO will output 10 if requested. NPA-NXX-XXXX. I recieve (with other switches) 10 and 7. With Nortel products I typically recieve 4.

I want to say a 6.1 can receive 10.... of course I say this not being at the office, but I thought that was the case - could be wrong.

The MICS 6.1 can receive up to 7 digits, but for the most part, 3 or 4 receiving digits will be more than adequate to accomplish the job.

I would also suggest that for simplicity as far as extention numbers and DID numbers to make the ext # the dame as the last 4 digits of the DID number.
