Reciept printing

Anyone have an example of printing to a reciept printer in the AS400 environment. Printer is Ithaca 1500 if that makes a difference.

Is the printer defined in the AS400, or are you trying to create one?

Sorry, should have been more specific. It is already defined and prints normally. I am having passing printer codes to the printer to change the size of the font, etc.

Why not add the codes to your output strings?

We print to ithaca series 90 printers and wrap the data with all the ithaca specific codes. The spooler then passes them along to the printer which interprets them and generates the desired output. This includes the triggering of graphics, landscape printing and font changes.

That is what we are trying to do but we can't get the syntax correct. Would you happen to have a code example?
