How do I change the receptionist extension from 10 to 12?

At the switch,unplug ext 10 and ext 12 and reverse them.

I want my receptionist extension to be 12. The voice mail goes to 10 automatically when an extension is not dialed. I want it to go to 12.

What type of voice mail do you have? Some versions you can change the 0 timeout action and some you can't.

Sorry. Partner Mail VS rel 5.0 was the first one you could change the 0 timeout action, it defaults to ext 10 and cannot be changed.

Hi GotMercy,
Just curious, why change the extension number?? The system architecture is ext 10 for reception. Also, if you dial "0" on the intercom, ext 10 will ring. Sounds like a no-winner.
