Receptionist cannot page thru headset 1

I have a company with a newer 8x24 whose recept. pages parked calls to users (med facility)using a 7310 with CAP module. Problem is she cannot page using her Plantronics H-51 headset, with Nortel pigtail- no M-10, she can page using handset with no problem. If I remove the CAP, she can page with the headset. I have never seen this before, I changed phone, CAP, and checked power. ????Suggestions!

try plugging headset into handset not into headset on phone

Thanks luv2ski, that was an option that I had not considered, because in many systems the "headset" jack is a special application, (ie: button controlled).I know that I have seen paging accomplished thru the headset jack on other Nortel systems (0-32)and it did not make sense why it wasn't working. I even asked a couple of other techs, but they didn't suggest what you did. I will try it and let you know. I primarily work on Avaya, but we have some Nortel and Toshiba, and Vodavi users too.
 
Make sure handsfree is set to 'auto' for the reception DN
