Recently I installed Norton AV 2002

Recently I installed Norton AV 2002; well last few days (actually for about a week) it will not start up on re-boot; there's no little icon in the systray, etc. I'm not getting pop ups anymore when I send an email. In short it's appeared to have gone away???

Oh BTW, I try to open it and it won't open, i.e., I can't start it by hand.

Are there any logs I can look at or any other suggestions? PhiloVance

Ok d/l and installed "FixKlez.com" from the Symantic web site and it reported that

"Neither W32.Klez.gen@mm nor W32.ElKern.gen
were found on your computer."

So that's not it. Any more ideas...this is really wierd.

Suggest you re-install it.

Go to start - programs and norton antivirus.

Start the norton AV.

On the user interface choose options and click on page defaults.

Continue and browse the rest of the options and choose page defaults.
