Recently having lock-ups

3 sites: IP403 at main, 2 others have Small Office Edition. T1 loops between sites, PRI from carrier into IP403 at main site.

Recently we have experienced a problem with a complete inability to receive or make calls. No calls in, no calls out, no calls between sites. This system has been up and good for a couple of years, and this problem came out of nowhere just recently.

Reboot resolved the issue. After about 1.5 weeks, it happened again.

2.1.24: I know, upgrade, but this is not a known issue according to tech support, and it certainly should have done this sooner, yes?

PRI from local carrier, almost all stations are IP sets.

Is this likely a hardware issue with VCMs or control unit circuitry?

Anyone seen this before?

your t-1 card many be bad. also might want to add an external csu

2.1 (24) is really the wurst version that ever came out.
If it run 1.5 week whitout lockups than your really lucky.

Go really fast to 2.1 (62) or if they are DS then goto 3.1(65).
