Recent slow backups on D: drive but not C: drive

Hi,

I'm using BE 8.6 w/remote agent and doing full backups
everynight. Just this week, back up speeds to the D: drive
on a server have really slowed down. The C: drive backs up
at the same speed as always and the amount of data being
backed up from D: has not increased! I back up multiple
servers and they are all fine no slow downs with them. Has
anyone experienced something like this?

Thanks,
HC

Is drive D a file share drive? Is it possible that the drive recently started seeing heavier user access at the times you are running the backup? Our file server takes longer to do backups from time to time, especially during our busy season.
