Receiving RunDLL error message

Hi,

I am receiving an error message when i try to create a new profile.

It says RunDLL error.

"An Exception Occured while trying to run "shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL"C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1\SYSTEM\MSMAPI\1033\MLCFG32.cpl"

Please help me to resolve the issue.

This error means that your Mlcfg32.cpl file is damaged or outdated. To fix the problem, rename the file, then run the Office 2000 repair utility as outlined below.

Rename your mlcfg32.cpl file, then run the Office 2000 repair utility as outlined below.




How to rename Mlcfg32.cpl and run the Office 2000 repair utility

Close the Outlook 2000 window.
From the Start menu, click Find, and choose Files or Folder....


In the Named: field, type mlcfg32.cpl.
Click the down arrow on the Look in: drop-down list and choose (C.
Check the box next to Include subfolders.
Click the Find Now button.


Click the Mlcfg32.cpl file with the right mouse button, and choose Rename.


In the space indicated by the frame, or box, rename Mlcfg32.cpl to Mlcfg32.old.


Close the Find window.
From the Start menu, click Settings, and choose Control Panel.


Double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon.


Scroll down until Microsoft Office 2000 is visible.
Select Microsoft Office 2000 in the list.
Click the Add/Remove button.


Click the Repair Office button.


Select Repair erros in my Office installation.
Click the Finish button.


Insert the Office 2000 CD into your computer's CD-ROM drive.
Click the OK button.


Click the Yes button.


After restarting your computer, test the Address Book in Outlook 2000.
