Receiving partial Payments

I am building a data base for a company and I have gotten so far as to have them input pledges a one to many assignment however I need to be able to receive partial payments as far as full payment not a problem the user simply check a box but on partial payment I'm not sure what to do. any suggestions would help greatly... For starters, how about a table related to "pledges" that would record pledge payments.

Your database employs extensive use of dlookup - which I never have had the need to use so I have little to offer regarding a solution to your problem given the current database design. I have read that some programmers frown on their use. I would have designed the database using standard queries and relationships. I will try to come up with an example. It will take some time given my schedule.
