Receiving multiple e-mails in outlook 2003

Hi,
I am having this problem where i am receiving multiple e-mails from my pop server. I have oultook 2003 and e-mail account with bell sympatico. Everytime someone sends me an e-mail it shows twice in my inbox. It's driving me crazy sometimes i have to delete more than 100-200 e-mails. It's frustrating. HELPPPPPP!!!!
