This may be more appropriate in the Sendmail forums, but I had to try...
I have sendmail configured, so that I can send messages from my HP-UX servers, but don't seem to be receiving messages...
If I originate a message from the same server, to a user on that server, the message appears to be delivered...
However, if I originate a message from another server, the message apparently never makes it to the destination server...
Is there something specific I need to do, to put sendmail in "receive" mode?
Our corporate mail server is an Exchange server, but I have a need to route certain external messages directly to my HP_UX servers...
Could my problem be that the user I'm sending to isn't registered on the MS Exchange server?
I thought I could send directly from one unix server to another, especially if they're both inside of the corporate firewall, and all servers resolve in DNS...
Any help would be greatly appreciated...
TIA
