Receiving Faxes

Hello,

I just joined this forum so forgive me if this question has already been answered.

I have a Nortel Norstar with the MICS and NAM (?) Voicemail. I also have a PRI card and a PRI. I would like to find a way to have the phone system look at did's, know they are incoming faxes (because of the number) and somehow send them to us via email. I know I can hook up ATA2's and send them to fax machines but I want some kind of electronic solution.

You'll have to get the Unified Messageing software and install it on the NAM. This will allow E-mail, vmail, and faxes to the desktop. If you purchased the NAM new I believe it comes with 2 seats (on the CD) so you can try it before you add more.

Ok well that is a step in the right direction. Can you tell me how I connect my phone system to the network so it can work. Also, where can I read up on how to configure and or install the unified messaging?
