On a Sparc 5 running Solaris 7 release date 3/99, we receive the message 'ls.so.1: internal: malloc failedKilled' when submitting df -k at the command prompt. We assume that we have corrupted memory. We attempted to restore the system by reinstalling Solaris 7, but the message re-occured. Would someone provide me with a resource to lookup the meaning of the error message and some procedures to trouble shoot and discover the nature/cause of this message. Thank you all in advance.
