While I have used receipts for people within my Post Office showing me when they have read a message, is it possible to do for ANY e-mail I send?

We have GroupWise 6.0.

Thanks!

With in the GroupWise mail system across all domains and PO's, yes you can get a receipt that the mail has been opened (does not always mean it was actually read). With Internet mail, no, not really, you can only get delivery notification.

When you go into TOOLS - OPTIONS and choose SEND; click on the MAIL tab and you have three sections. The first are the options for the mail status when you check the properties of a sent item. The third is the return notification options. The third is just delivery notification. This will only tell you that the mail message was successfully delivered to the recipient’s mail server.
