A few weeks back my NT 4.0 SP6a web server crashed. It was pretty much dead, couldn't access the HD at all. I rebuilt a new server this time using Windows 2000. I setup the server, I installed IIS, I copied the backup web files to the server and I put it in the DMZ, just like the previous server. Now I can see the website from inside our local LAN but I can't see it from the outside world. The server has the same IP address of the previous server, the firewall is setup to point the public IP address to the private IP that it's has. Any ideas of what I forgot?

Thanks

Its really odd sometimes. If you are using a CISCO PIX 501 and trying to access web site from internally using an outside IP it will not allow you to route back in. Did you try and access this from a PC outside your network?

The website will not display when I attempt to go to the DNS name or the public IP address from an external location. I can access the DNS name from internally but not the Public IP address. The firewall I have in place hasn't changed so I can't see there being any problems with it. Any other suggestions, ideas??

Thanks
