Older model HP (black only) laserjet. Using rebuilt cartridges.
Cartridges from one supplier print darker than those from another supplier.
Would the darker printing come from a different drum or from different toner? ( I am considering experimenting with a "melt a hole in the toner tank" refill myself. If the drum is the factor influencing print darkness, I don't want to put toner in the ones that print more faintly. )
