I just reinstalled Eudora for my manager who had told me he backed up his mailboxes. Well he did back up all .mbx files but not the .toc files. I cannot find a way to make eudora recreate these .toc files. I can use the GUI interface and create mailboxes with the same name format as the .mbx files and it will create a .toc but you cannot use it to open the mailbox in eudora you have to just double click on the .mbx file to see the backed up emails. Can anyone tell me how I can rebuild the .toc files where eudora will open the mailboxes when double clicked on, on the right hand side???

I've had several problems with corrupted mailboxes (5.2.0.9), so have had several occasions where I've had to delete the TOC file, and then the next time I re-start eudora, and try to open the mailbox, it just re-creates on-the-fly. You loose your message markings, but I've never had to do anything special.
