Rebuild or Clear All Transactios/Totals

Hello, I'm running micros pos 5.2 under Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise 8gb ram, 64bits

On the other hand, Product Management(PM) is slowing down because my daily transactions(Transfers, Receiving, Reconcile Counts, etc)
and History. So I'm thinking about to 'Rebuild the database' or 'Clear All Transactions/Totals'

In both cases my question is how long it takes to 'Rebuild' or 'Clear', this is because my bussines operations starts at 11.00 am daily,(My end of day is at 6:00am) and I don't want this to interfere with my bussines operations.
The micros.db file size is 2'806,552 kb

is that 2.8 GB?

That will take alot of time. Maybe 3-6 hours for a rebuild?

Clearing totals is faster, 5-10 minutes.

Start the process when they close, you should be fine. Run EOD manually if you cross the 6am mark.
