I am not sure what hardware your working with but here is my suggestion.
1. I would down the server and remove both drives and put them to the side.
2. Build your RAID 5 on a hardawre level. I would start with 3 drives, you can always add drives later. The reason I say 3 drives is so that you have open bays for the next steps. Only configure these on a hardware level so they are seen as free space on it's own logical drive.
3. Add the mirrored drives back in and boot from them.
4. Purchase and Install ServerMagic 4.0 for NetWare.
5. Copy the DOS partition onto the new space. ServerMagic will allow you to resize it if this needs to be done.
6. After the DOS partition is set, copy the SYS volume over. Resize if needed - you will need to bring the server up off the new drives to do this. If you plan to bring the server up, off the new drives, at this point you will need to remove the mirrored drives.
7. Copy over any other volumes and resize.
I would research and plan first. If you call your hardware vendor and ServerMagic, they will give you some direction. I normally use ServerMagic when migrating to new hardware and it's great. Actually migrating to another server would be the best solution.
Good Luck
Lou
