Hi All,

I have an MX One 3.2 and I am running a number of IP phones at a remote site. The phones work correctly and are able to make and receive calls, however three or four times a day all the phones reboot on the remote ite re-boot. The WAN is BT MPLS with QoS EF with a leg across SDH. We are investigating the PoE on site as a possible cause as all LAN switches, CORE and Edge are configured correclt across both sites.

The TTL is set at 600 and we have no issues on the WAN with regard to outages

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Merlin

Set up via hub to connect to network connection for a phone and run wireshark on a laptop on that port to see what happens when phone re-registers. Check debug logs on phone at time of restart and call QOS values, this will tell you if this is the network dropping. Can you check logfiles on PVC's to see if one is dropping? What IP phones and what firmware?
