Twice now 2 different systems did not come back up after using immediate or scheduled.
One was BCM450 and the other a 50....both Rls 5 or 6.

First time was immediate and ended up having to hard boot.
Second time was scheduled and ended up having to hard boot.

These were the only 2 times I tried so frankly I do not trust the reboot option all together now.

Are there known issues with this feature?

I had that same issue on the 450 which caused a 100 mile dash to the site at 5 AM to toggle the power. I installed the new SU that was released last month and all EM reboots now have worked but I'm also a little distrustful of scheduling without someone onsite to hit the switch.

Hi Guys,

Just had the same issue on a BCM450 R5. System sat down and wouldn't boot until I physically pulled the plug.

Fully patched too. I wasn't happy as it too required an early morning dash to site :-(

From reading the above threads, it's reasonable to assume that the 450's are troublesome things to deal with as I've rarely had problems with the 50's and 400 models.

All the best

If it's working, then leave it alone!.

Could be David,

However I'm thinking it might just be something R5/R6 related.

Does anyone remember the mothly "Top Issues" bulletin that Nortel used to provide ? Doesn't seem to have made the move to Avaya. That was quite handy as you'd know they were aware of issues and they were working on them.
