Hi,

The windows 2003 terminal servers are rebooting on its own.

I don;t see any software issue as there is nothing in the Event log.

I have disabled the "wake up capablity" of the HP NIC card.

Can anyone please highlight what more possible reasons could there be?

Kind regards,
Krischrist

As a starting point?
It is happening always around the same time? The event log will indicate the time the event monitoring has restarted after a reboot. If this is the case, look for a schedule task that reboots the server

If it happens randomly check to ensure there is no issue with the power supply on the server or the UPS it is attached to.

Hope this helps.

well itsp1965 makes some good suggestions.

two other simple things to check:

Is there a shutdown in the sheduled tasks?

Do any users have the riht to shutdown?

Have you got any hardware monitoring on the server? It could be a BSOD caused by a faulty component (such as memory or processor)?
