I am aware that the buffer is too full hence the reboot, the sustomer though is adement that the virus definitions are up-to-date. Just before the unit reboots it has CMMonItem Removed these are digital extensions, could there be a fault with them?

We took the unit off the LAN and it didn't reboot, I know it's there network but I don't know what is causing it.

Any help, ideas would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

JPR

I would monitor the Interface Packets Out on their Internet dialer if they are using one, or if they are not, run a packet capture application on the same LAN segment as the Argent to see what traffic is hitting it.

JPR,

what version of s/w is your Argent Branch running?

The "OSBuf::pushdown Too far" error message means that the Branch has allocated a buffer of size X to a function and it has tried to loada chunk of data that is too big for the reserved buffer into it - hence it pushes the buffer pointer "too far".

The 5 bytes of info (fff0098c 011d9924 011c467c 01239928 01237884) tagged onto the end of the "WATCHDOG TIMEOUT " line are the last instructions the unit executed before it crashed (hopefully - unless it hyperspaced!) so normally they are very usefull. However they are only useful if the version of s/w running on the Branch at the time is known - hence the reason I ask you to post the s/w version running in the Branch.

As a general note when requesting assistance on any IP Office related issue it would be most helpfull if the various versions of IP Office module and application s/w running on the units/network accompanied the request for help. That way a more informative answer can be given, especially if you are suffering a bug that has already been reported and a fix has been produced in a later version.

The message "CMMonItem Removed 0139230c MarieAlbertelli" means that the user with name "MarieAlbertelli" has been removed from a Branch PC Partner application (this could be a Phone Manager, a BLF or a WOC).
From the trace given in your mail it looks like lots users are being removed from PC partners.

Hope this is of use.
