Can anyone tell me how I can set my server to run an auto reboot, I used to use shutdown -r function in a cmd file for windows 2000, xp and 98 but this does not work on server 2000

Thanks

Tim

psshutdown is a good option but the shutdown.exe prog should work as well, make sure that the screensaver isn't locked at the time.

Do you mean make sure the pc isnt locked?,
Also, I need it to be able to log back on after reboot, will this do it?

Thanks

Tim

You need to make sure that the screen isn't locked when you want it too reboot, this seems to cause problems. I really wouldn't recommend using auto admin logon on a server.
