Is there a way for Windows 2000 to kick off a script upon a server reboot? I know there is a way to run a script upon logon, but our server is going to be unattended and the script would need to run without someone having to log on. Thanks.

You bet! Win2K supports 4 kinds of scripts. Login, Logout, Startup, Shutdown.

All you need to do is open the local Group Policy in MMC and add your script to the computers Startup Script section. You will find it under Computer Configuration, Windows Settings, Scripts, Startup.

I hope you find this post helpful. Please let me know if it was.

Regards,

Mark
