Working on a Meridian 81C and having issues with calls being routed to a dead voicemail box. 800 Numbers originally routed fine. I am told that CCR is not routing correctly to Meridian Mail and this may need a reboot, but I have read that this reboot could in fact kill this system. Is there a command to run to see when the last time this was rebooted? A uptime command?

First, I'd look at LD48 STAT AML to see if everything is enabled.

If you know you have to reboot, there is a reset button on the CCR module - don't reboot the whole Option 81C PBX :)

I noticed everything is up. Any way to see when the last time this system was rebooted? Also, does it sound like Meridian Mail or CCR is toast if CCR is forwarding a call and the call is going nowhere?

Thanks!

I'm not a CCR expert, and don't knw how to tell when t was last rebooted. The tests I'd perform include calling MerMail to make sure it answers any call. If it does not, then I'd look at that LD48 STAT AML again. If it looks "right" but MerMail still does not answer... personally, I'd INI the PBX.

Then as a second resort, reboot MerMail (take the tape out of the drive and press the buttons on each card - I think they are VP cards, but I can't remember the name...the cards where each has a button though. Press'em one by one, in any order.

The only way I know of is print a ISSP in ld 22. The patches will have a date beside them. That date is when the patches were installed or when the system was last rebooted.

Yea I am having the same issue right now my CCR light is on fail right now

My Layer 2 says waiting to establish and my Layer 7 says down right now.
