Hi I have an HP server with an ilo card that is pingable, but not reachable via the web interface. Does anyone know a way that the ILO can be rebooted via a telnet console or something?

There is a configuration util on the HP website that can do this kind of thing for you. You just have to do some editing of simple XML files.

Have a look at the drivers page for your particular server.

hi Neil, sounds good, but I dont see it anywhere on the hp site, tried going to drivers and support for iLO , but just see firmware upgrades and licensng stuff.

I think it is on the page for the particular server, not iLO.

Think somebody put a link in to it a few threads back as well.

thanks, I can see some stuff relating to it now.
