Reboot After Activating Scripts

Hello everyone,
I activated Primary Scripts and the Master Script and
I had to reboot my server before they kicked in.
I'm using SCCS 4.2 with SU12.
Any tips

A question or two- were they newly built, never having been activated or changes to existing?

I'll see if I get this in the right place this time.
