Reason Codes : Can you disable unnamed reason codes?

Here is my scenario, I am only making use of 4 out of the 9 reason codes (1-4) and I don't want agents to be able to input a code which hasn't been configured both in the Reason Code Names table or in the CMS dictionary. In my testing I was able to use any of the unnamed codes and it would just display said number. For example Reason Code 7 is not named in my table, but I was still able to input it at the Forced Reason Code prompt and on the CMS report I was running and it would simply come up as "7".

Has anyone else had to deal with this?

Hey Anduril,

This can be done through the change system-parameters features command.

Here, you can set the "Aux Work Reason Code Type" to "forced" for specific skills or groups, ensuring agents can only select from the defined codes.
