Why are the choices for:
Enforce RI
Cascading Updates and
Cascading Deletes
"grayed out" in my relationships window?? These are exactly the choices I need to prevent my current DB behavior. The join is a "one to one" with one end of the line joining a "linked" table.

I'm trying to prevent cascading deletes in the linked table.

Does clicking on enforce Referential Integity enable them.

What data types are the 2 linked fields.

Are they indexed?

If you're trying to PREVENT cascading deletes, then you would leave the Cascading Delete box UNCHECKED.
