I have a Win2K server that is running an application shared among five computers. They constantly lose their mapping to the server, and even it cannot connect to the mapped drive sometimes when booting.
What's weird is that you can see the machine in NN within the Win98 machines, but you cannot double click and see the shares - it gives a message that the machine is not there. Now go into NN and hit "Entire Network" and it shows up, and you can double click and map the drive etc.
Now if you go back into NN you can see the server and double click and go into it.
What did I miss in the configuration?
Thanks,
Tim Bryant
