REALLY simple question!!

Hi,
I am new to VBScript. I have a page where the user enters their details.

I want to include some validation for their name and email, so they are prompted to enter in valid details should they enter an invalid email address or leave a field blank for example.

I am not sure of the syntax for it...is it similar to Javascript?
