I use win 98se at home and win me at work. This is about the one at home. What does it mean when you start your comp and right away you get the "blue screen of death" that says you have a stack overflow problem... Increase the ??? in system.ini There are currently 5 ???s allocated. I don't remember the exact message but I went to system.ini in msconfig and could not find anything. Has anyone else ever gotten this when using win 98se? This happened to me on the last two computers I've had at home. Sara

It is under 386Enh in the system ini. should be SPs=. If it is not there add it. I have mine set to 12 but 8 may be enough(set in increments of 4). So it should look like:
[386Enh]
SPs= 8

Hope this Helps.
