From your previous reply i understood that it won't works on Mainframes, if i am wrong correct me.

All you read about COBOL for IBM mainframe is valid. CA-REALIA has help files. Everything is in it. On the CD there are many help manuals and also example programs. The compiler options, syntax, etc. is in there. What version do you have? The student version does not contain help files. The book 'Cobol from micro to mainframe' from Grauer - Villar / Prentice Hall contains a student version, but only in an old release.
You can use DB2. You need a DB2 preprocessor. If it is not available on your installation CD, you can find one on the downloadsides. The links are on this site somewhere.
About Compiler options: read the manuals. The options depends on the version of the compiler you have.
There is a btrieve interface but if you don't need it, I would use the Realia file system. CA-REALIA COBOL is a pc, mainframe look-alike compiler. But if you use the pc (also btrieve)extentensions, it is of course not compatible anymore. If you have mainframe sources, you can compile them with Realia. If you don't use pc extensions, you can develop on the pc for the mainframe.
