real time form validation and DHTML

Hi all,

can anyone point me in the right direction? I've been searching all day with no luck!

I have to validate 3 inputs on a form and change how the inputs are displayed if they are incorrect according to my javascript functions. I have posted this in the javascript forum also

Validation requires a scripting language (be it client side, or swerver-side), so it falls out of the realm of this Forum. you are better off waiting for an answer in the JS forum.

but i imagine it be a simple matter of placing conditional statements to modify the form output depending on the values entered.
